A resolution from the Utah Legislature would formally honor the 100th anniversary of the Utah Parent Teacher Association, recognizing its century of work supporting children's education, health, safety, and well-being, including its role in creating full-day kindergarten, promoting child-labor and public-health protections, advancing school lunch programs, and championing school safety. The resolution carries no legal requirements or funding but expresses the Legislature's appreciation for the organization's volunteers and encourages all Utahns to stay actively involved in the education of the state's children and youth.
